  1. Drink more water: Water is the most effective detoxifying agent for your body. It is readily available and has no calories. Since we lose water every day through urine, bowel movements, perspiration and breathing, we need to replenish our water intake to make sure our body functions properly.
  2. Get enough sleep: In order for the brain to function properly, you need to have at least 6 hours uninterrupted sleep. Lack of sleep results in behavioral changes as well as premature aging too. You wouldn’t want those wrinkles anytime soon now, would you?
  3. Meditate: It relaxes your mind, body, and soul. A happy and relaxed being leads a better lifestyle as compared to a stressful individual.
  4. Exercise: Workout keeps your body agile and keeps you active. It also releases endorphins, also known as the ‘happy hormone’ that helps in maintaining our emotional quotient. It also is the reason for our longevity.
  5. Eat more fruits and green vegetables: They are a plethora of vitamins and minerals. Go organic! Having fresh fruits and vegetables are much better than taking synthetic supplements. The more your body is armored with vital nutrients, the healthier it will become.
  6. Boycott junk food: There is a reason it is called junk food. It will only burden you with all kinds of lifestyle diseases. Have less oily and non-processed food for a better lifestyle? Avoid trigger foods.
