I am sure all the kids love to eat candies, chocolates, pastries and cakes. I was also one among them as I loved to eat anything that was sweet in taste. While eating sweets, I never bothered about a number of calories it carried. After returning from school, I always searched for the chocolates and sweets in my refrigerator. Often, my mom scolded me for eating chocolates daily but I never paid attention.
During my second year of graduation, I noticed that my weight was increasing and I felt tired soon. My friends were quite energetic and could manage different activities in a single day. On the other hand, I used to get tired after every activity. At times, my friends teased me for my slow movements and extra kilos. I did not like the way I was treated by some of them and always tried to ignore their comments.
Noticing my health, my father took me to a physician for a complete body check-up. Through medical reports, I came to know that I was diabetic. No doubt, this was the result of my eating habit. I tried to quit sweets but it was a big challenge for me. At times, I ate chocolates without letting my mother know about it. After sometime, again my parents had my sugar level checked. My medical reports were not satisfactory. Then my aunt advised me to take use Kaloree1 in place of normal sugar. It was surprising that it had the same taste and helped me in controlling my sugar level and weight.
