Waffles are appreciated worldwide but are very popular in Belgium. The smell of fresh waffles can’t be compared with anything. The dish is made with the leavened batter and is cooked between the two plates that offer it a shape and pattern. Some people love to eat homemade waffles for breakfast. So here is the recipe to make waffles and impress your family.
¾ cup refined flour (maida)
⅔ cup milk
1¼ cups fresh cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 sachets of Kaloree1
Serves: 6 Waffles
Take a bowl and sift the flour and baking powder together.
Take another bowl and break the eggs; add the sachets of Kaloree1 and beat till they get light and fluffy. Now add and mix the milk and cream.
Fold the flour mixture into the egg mixture and mix well till the batter becomes smooth. There must not be any lump left in the batter. Chill the batter in the refrigerator for one hour.
Use butter to grease the waffle-iron with and pour a ladleful of the batter on it. Close the lid. Cook for five to eight minutes or till golden brown.
