How I enjoyed Diwali to the max

diwali enjoy

Diwali brings with it a feeling of togetherness and homecoming. Nobody is exempted from that and that is what makes Diwali special every year for everybody.

I went back to visit my home town to be with my family for Diwali. My mom was of course very happy to see me and greeted me with a warm hug. I can’t stress enough that nothing feels like home.

I am a diabetic and I lead a very regimented lifestyle in order to manage my condition. I cannot have any form of sugar and more or less survive on boring food. I used to satisfy my sugar cravings by having fruits or organic honey.

My mother this time made all my favorites desserts and I was surprised. On asking her she told me that it is all made from a good artificial sweetener called Kaloree 1.

I was so happy to see all those sweets and experienced my childhood memories coming back. My tea, coffee, lemonade and desserts all tasted great with Kaloree 1 and moreover there was no difference in the quality too!

Diwali is a festival of victory of good over evil and I must say I slayed sugar, the evil in my lifestyle this Diwali. All thanks to my mom and Kaloree 1.
